Emilie Tupper | Studio Strings & Studio Prep Violin

Emilie Tupper is a recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where she received a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance studying under Mikhail Kopelman. Additionally, she received a Certificate of Achievement in Chamber Music Performance as a member of the Kilbourn Quartet, and a Minor in Political Science at the University of Rochester.

Emilie is an avid chamber musician, and has used her passion for chamber music to foster relationships with the Rochester community. With her quartet, she has curated and performed in several educational concerts at local elementary schools, including a collaborative, interactive concert with music students at the Children’s School of Rochester in the spring of 2023. As a performer, Emilie has held principal positions in the Eastman Philharmonia and Eastman Opera Orchestra, and has performed with the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, Southern Tier Symphony, and the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra in her hometown of Williamsport, PA. During the summers, she has attended the Chautauqua Instrumental Program and the Bowdoin International Music Festival.

In her spare time, Emilie enjoys reading, going for long walks, and finding fun, new things to do in Rochester!
