Teachers and Staff | Daniel Morehead

Daniel Morehead joined the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in February of 2023 as third chair. Previously he has attended the Aspen Summer Music Festival as well as Music Academy of the West. Additionally he has performed with the Columbus Symphony (Indiana), Corpus Christi Symphony, Victoria Symphony (Texas), and Evansville Philharmonic.

Prior to joining the RPO, he attended Indiana University for a performers diploma in orchestral double bass in addition to a masters degree under Jeffrey Turner.
